Queen Jennifer Moody graduated from Miller Place High school where she played on the state renowned field hockey team as well as lacrosse. Jennifer graduated from Suffolk Community Collage with an Associate's Degree in Science. Currently she is attending Suffolk Community Collage taking steps to become a registered nurse. Jennifer works for Miller Place Animal Hospital because one of her passions is her love for animals. She has her own pet sitting/dog walking business. She volunteers with a certified dog trainer to assist with training shelter dogs to help them become more adoptable. Jennifer's kind-hearted spirit and positive outlook serves her to be a great roll model as our Queen.

Lady Dianna Dougherty graduated from Rocky Point High School and is currently attending Salve Regina University in Rhode Island. Where she is majoring in business. Dianna has participated in many community service activities including Habitat for Humanity, 30-Hour Famine, food drives, preparing Thanksgiving baskets and Crop Walk. Her grandfather, John Dougherty was one of the founding members of the Friends of Saint Patrick and the Grand Marshall in our 12th annual parade in 1962. Dianna will be showing honor to her Irish roots as one of our lovely ladies of the Royal Court.

Lady Jessie Nicotra is a graduate from Rocky Point H.S. where she was captain of the cheerleading squads for both JV and Varsity. She also has a black belt in the marshall arts. Jessie graduated from Stony Brook U. with a B.A. in Psychology. She has completed one semester at C.W. Post in Social Work and plans to continue this fall at Stony Brook to get her Masters Degree in Social Work. Jessie is working full-time as a substance abuse counselor at Outreach House II in Brentwood. Her future goal is to get her Doctorate. This determined and confidant young lady will be called Dr. Jessie one day soon.

The Friends of St. Patrick Inc. are proud to announce the Royal Court for the 58th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. The Queen is Jennifer Moody of Miller Place and the Ladies of the Royal Court are Dianna Dougherty and Jessie Nicotra, both from Rocky Point.

The Queen and her royal court will be officially crowned on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at 4pm at the East Wind Grand Ballroom on 25A in Wading River. The coronation will be the highlight of the Friends of St. Patrick fundraiser dinner reception.

Queen Jennifer Ladies Dianna and Jessie will symbolize the best of Irish charm and warmth as they ride in regal prominence at the head of the 58th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. The parade will be held on Sunday, March 9 at 1 pm sharp.

Our 2008 Royal Court
