Kerilyn Becker of Shoreham has been chosen to reign as Queen, and will be joined by the Ladies the Royal Court Andrea Lebedinski of Setauket, and Erica LiBassi of Medford.
Queen Kerilyn Becker is a graduate of Shoreham Wading River High School where she played viola and participated in The Long Island String Festival and The Suffolk County Orchestra, while teaching herself guitar and vocals. She decided to make music her profession and enrolled in the Music Therapy Program at Monclair State University in New Jersey and is currently doing her internship at the Metropolitan Jewish Hospice in Brooklyn. There she lends healing, support, and comfort to those in their final stages of cancer treatment. With her passion of music and of helping others she plans to attend the Graduate School at Molloy College in Rockville Center to become a Board Certified Music Therapist.
Lady Andrea Lebedinski has completed her bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Stony Brook University with a concentration in marketing, and will receive her master’s degree in Professional Development in May of this year. From her early beginnings she has always been committed to public affairs and community service, and her enthusiasm has enabled her to become coordinator of merchandise and branding for the athletic department of her university. There she coordinates various sales and promotional events bringing along the Stony Brook Seawolves team mascot Wolfie.
Lady Erica LiBassi is a graduate of Longwood High School and is currently a Broadcast Journalist Major at Suffolk Community College. Leading a StraightEdge lifestyle (no drinking, no smoking, no drugs) she leads by example to her contemporaries and those younger than her at her place of employment CPC Early Discoveries. Erica is also very committed to being a catechist teacher at St. Sylvester’s Volunteer Church and has done so for over eight years. For many years she has maintained her fitness, strength, and coordination by being a student of Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing.
The Friends of St. Patrick are pleased to announce The Royal Court for this year’s milestone 60th Annual Miller Place-Rocky Point St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Please join the Friends of St. Patrick at their annual fundraiser cocktail party on Sunday February 28 from 4 to 8 PM at East Wind Caterers in Wading River, as the Parade Queen and Royal Court will be officially crowned. The 60th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place on Sunday March 14 at 1PM at Harrison Avenue and Route 25A in Miller Place and proceeds east ending in at Broadway in Rocky Point.
